What do you want? Is it something physical, immaterial or your personal growth?Human beings want to have, feel and do so many things. But most don't achieve them. Until they realize that they are the ones who have sabotaged themselves, they will continue to experience disappointments in life. These people are mostly skeptics and cynics. They think that working on their personal growths are a waste of time. They don't believe in many things that involve efforts. They rely on luck without putting much work in it. They try something they have done before once or twice and gave up when they get the same frustrating results. They think they other people deserve more than they do because the other person is smarter, luckier or gifted. These people are also the ones who are envious, have a lot of anger toward others, are unforgiving and aren't accountable. And if by chance they stumble upon some fortunes, they will lose them not long after. Some will lose their friends and families. The worst is that they surrender their values. Their lives will improve if only they could see that their thoughts, perceptions and attitudes are the barriers that are holding them back from getting what they desire for or getting more of what they already have. If you happen to be one of these people who want things but can't achieve them, you can change yourself and go through a different experience.
When your thoughts are right, you will become right. It becomes easier to reach your aspirations, whether physical or immaterial. The best thing that you will experience is not in the things that you have accumulated but a mind that is at peace. Maybe, you will realize that this is actually what you want most. |
Quote"Someone once asked me what I want on my epitaph when I pass away. Just the words - "I tried." That's what this game of life is all about. Trying. There's the tryers, the criers, and the liars." - Mickey Rooney
