Feeling Sick and Tired

There are times in your life when you feel so sick and tired of what's going on around you. This feeling normally arises when you find yourself stuck with bills, not being able to see any improvement in your life and your day to day existence is monotonous.

Thinking positive is important but insufficient to overcome that fed up and jaded feeling. You must find out what it is that is making you feel weary. You have to look for ways to overcome yourself from building up the inertia and feeling stuck.

You may need to put yourself in a resourceful state to get out of it. Perhaps you should ask yourself what it is exactly that you are focusing on. Dwelling on what makes you feel jaded will further make you hesitate to take the next course of action to get out of the rut.

"It's possible to forget how alive we really are. We can become dry and tired, just existing, instead of really living. We need to remind ourselves of the juice of life, and make that a habit. Find those places inside that jump for joy, and do things." - Author Unknown

  1. Removing a habit that is holding you back is one way of improving the quality of your life. Don't get yourself on automatic mode where you do things unconsciously. Develop better habits that would bring different results.

  2. Find something new to learn and do even if you have not put much interest in it initially. What you already know and keep repeating will dull your life.

  3. Connect with others or find companionship. Talk to people who could help you gain some new lessons and experiences. Get out and have some fun and laughter. Get up and out and do something that gives you pleasure.

  4. Remind yourself of your goals. Probably you were too busy trying to get things fast and right that you forgot what it is that you want. Don't get yourself caught up with the speed it'll take. You have to remember that it takes time to develop and grow. Keep going and fight the resistance.

  5. If you feel sick and fed up, take a rest. Spend your time doing activity that gives you energy and express your emotions to cure your weariness. Don't take a break too long though because you may end up putting things off. Get just enough to give you the needed balm and then chart your course again.

  6. Self discipline is important. No matter how slow your progress appears, you have to carry on doing the necessary and have faith that things will change. Continue with your journey. Don't sabotage yourself.
