Through the Looking Glass

I see many things "through the looking glass", especially since I have grown through disappointments in life.

I was never quite prepared for more of the same, the infidels who played ugly games.

I was used to abuse in many forms, coveted by status from shore to shore.

Adjusted to one color of eyes that was the boss and nothing more...

I learned to be second, and to be gracious and proud, even, if I was put last in sitting in the crowd.

No one told me about the color of skin, not like I learned on this southern ground....

And indifference that was greater by far, so much apart of the south...

Through the "looking glass" I did see, the image that was staring at me...

For I was different this I knew, but because I believed that the outside of me what not a true reflection that others would see...

I learned the beauty is within the soul, and this is because the Spirit told me so!

Through the years and overtime, I became the Widow to Be, written off by human beings who stare, apart of the Crystal held in God's hands!
