3 Simple success tipsI received a question in my email asking for success tips. Before I can offer any, I would like to state that success is a personal thing. Many equate it to acquiring wealth. Others measure it from the accomplishments of goals that may not relate to material goods.
This is your starting point. I'm sure you've heard it over and over again by anyone who has succeeded that knowing what you want and writing them down are two of the most important things to do. The process writing your goals will enable you to really question yourself on what you personally desire. When you know what you badly want and then write them clearly, you are able to challenge yourself to overcome your limiting beliefs, build confidence and faith. Your consuming desire will motivate you to find the knowledge, learn the skills and plan out the strategies. For more help on setting goals, check out the Jim Rohn's One Year Success Plan
You need to discipline yourself to do the necessary things consistently. You have to control your attitudes, and thoughts. You must manage your moods and use your emotions to push you to take actions. With self-discipline, you will conquer procrastination, manage your time effectively and develop success habits.
When you are aware of what you are thinking, doing and feeling, you are able to tell if the path you are taking is leading you to your success. If you know that you are straying, you can make corrective actions. You can then change your approach or yourself. Browse the about personal growth site map for more tips. |
