Am currently doing a degree course (law) that I TRULY HATE! But am trapped because I don't know what I would do otherwise, if I left. I want to leave uni because it makes me miserable everyday and it just drains any happiness out of me (yes, its that bad). I am tired of feeling like this but I feel like am trapped to stay and finish the course.
Any helpful feedback would be appreciated

Just wanted to start of by saying that based on the advice given within the column, it may not be to our advantage to read and give advice considering we're all somewhat lost ourselves.
That said, I'll do my best.
What is it that you hate so much about the program - the topics, the format of the coursework or the professors? Is there anything that you do like about it such as reading case studies or probing the law?
It's easy to generalize (I'm not by any means trying to discredit your thoughts) but I often find that when I ask myself these questions, I don't really hate everything about what seems to be one thing, but elements of it.
Also, consider the pro and cons of having a law degree and the various fields that you can enter into with the degree (i.e., patent law, corporate law, prosecution etc.).
Sorry to say, there's no easy answer to this. Just more questions. But, there are important questions to ask yourself and resolve internally.
Best of luck to you!

What made you decide to go into law study? From that point, see if your reason was a false hope.
Misery is a part of life when things are not followed through, or events trickle in to defeat our focus.
Law...many have succeeded, and many have changed coarse. Not a bad thing to do...
Your happiness should be filled to what you can give and act upon that gives you a lift in life.
I should know. I benefited for the love of service but did not benefit through the ways of infidels that work within the system set-up for empowerment of status quo.
Think about what makes you feel so different now. Change is good for the soul. The spirit allows us the freedom of choice within our own perimeters.
The rest is You!
