Getting Revenge

So you've been hurt or insulted. And all you can think of is seeking revenge. Most likely you will go all the way and think of retaliation. The main question that you focus on is, "What can I do to avenge?"

Probably one of the major reasons you may want to get even is to restore your pride. It is a common belief that vengeance is sweet. You get a certain amount of satisfaction from the punishment you inflict on the person who has caused your injury.

But why not look at it in a different way? Imagine what it would feel like to settle your score by showing off your success to the one who has ridiculed, humiliated or deserted you. The pleasure is permanent and the reward you gain surpasses what you have lost.

When Is Revenge Really Sweet

bullet2 Design a better you.

Adhere to the old saying that massive success is the sweetest revenge. Many people envy those who are better than them and who experience a lot of pleasures in life. You can use this knowledge to get even and gain admiration. Start reworking on yourself and design a better you. Look at the areas that you need to improve and practice until you become what you envision.

When you shift your thinking, you will begin to transform yourself and become a better person. You will experience a different identity and perception. Your focus will change and soon you will notice that you are able to neutralize your bad feelings.

Work on your physical appearance to enhance your self image, develop better habits, and put your efforts on improving your influence and skills. Connect with people who are superior in the development of their characters. Join people who have great sense of humor and can laugh at themselves.

When you mingle with successful people, you will get influenced with their thinking styles and personalities. This will help you build your self confidence and change your limiting beliefs about your abilities and potentials.

bullet2 Attract better people and conditions into your life.

You may not realize or admit it, but you have attracted your experience from the thoughts that you sent out. How you think affect your behavior and attitude. In order to magnetize better people and experiences in your life, change your thoughts and beliefs. You will inevitably change your circumstances and pull the good things and people into your life.

Your development will happen when you learn to use your personal power by using your mind to attract all the good things life has to offer. Your ability to lead your own future will put you ahead of others and that's the best punishment to avenge with those who have done your wrong.

bullet2 Forgive.

Many wise men have advocated that forgiveness is the best revenge. There are higher things that you can do with your life than to drift into thinking about how to make somebody payback for their wrongdoings.

Why fight someone to show your strength or superiority? When people don't treat you well or have wrecked your life, forgive them, move on and take the next step to enhance your life. It gives you a peace of mind and shows your real strength and character.
