Relationships are like a mirror. What you see in your partner you see in yourself.

When you are upset your partner seems upset
What you don't see your partner sees
If you turn away your partner turns away
And when you look at yourself and ignore the image eventually you neglect to see the picture

And if for any reason your mirror shall break, it would take much time and pain to put the pieces back together again.

Everything you do in a relationship reflects who you are.
