"You can see a lot just by observing" - Yogi BerraThe art of observing requires your willingness to spend time watching, listening and feeling. Do you know that you would have fewer problems if you had paid more attention to what's going on inside and around you? When you fail to notice what and how your actions affect your life and that of others, your problems will persist and you will keep repeating the same mistakes. You may have avoided the process because you find it time consuming and boring. You might also be one of those people who have not been used to practicing internal silence and don't trust your intuition. If you want to learn, gain insights and discover truth, you must start to make a conscious effort to see the details and the things that you have ignored. It has to start with looking at your thoughts and your emotions. Listen to your internal and external language. Don't resist or fight even if you feel uncomfortable. Just get curious and watch. Next is to be aware of how you respond and create the results in your life. You should repeat the process until it becomes automatic. When you become good at it, start watching other people and their behaviors. You'll learn a great deal more and able to correlate. You speed up your learning process if you write down your thoughts and feelings. You can find the causes and solutions to all your personal problems through observation. So make time for it. |
Quote"If I were to prescribe one process in the training of men which is fundamental to success in any direction, it would be thoroughgoing training in the habit of accurate observation. It is a habit which every one of us should be seeking ever more to perfect." - Eugene G. Grace
