Without them you are uninspired and when you are short of motivation, you procrastinate. Fill your mind with vivid pictures of what you want and the things you feel strongly about. Envision a future of personal growth, success and affluence. Your mind will move to search the resources and show you how to get them. Catch yourself and mentally cancel when you start hearing the "I lack something" thoughts.
Nothing will change until you do. Your health will deteriorate further if you continue to neglect to take care of your body, mind and spirit. Your relationships may fall further apart if you insist on blaming others and not taking personal responsibility. Your finances, your confidence and your whole life may just remain short of growth as long as you remain what you have been. What you can do is systematically and consistently improve one behavior or an attitude. Make a resolution to succeed and condition yourself to act in spite of your resistance. Refuse to allow your feelings to have control, change your behaviors and action and you will have better results. Make a decision to change the label you have been putting on yourself. You are not inadequate or unskilled. You just have not acquired enough knowledge, ideas and experience yet.
You need to put aside a little bit of time each day to get to know yourself better and to get in touch with your emotions. Only then will you begin to develop an understanding of your real wants and needs. Your fears, doubts, habits and attitudes are most likely the underlying reasons for your lack of courage to change your condition. During this period of reflection, look at your daily activities and how your past conditioning have affected your thinking and doing. Make use of this alone times to consider options, refocus and plan your strategies.
Your parents, teachers and upbringing have contributed a large part to your conditioning which affect your perceptions. You will act and think in the same way unless you open your mind to a different environment and surround yourself with supportive people who have and know what you don't. Increase your level of curiosity, study and observe them. Look out for role models, connect with them and ask for help and guidance. Choose your surroundings and select the atmosphere that would influence you positively. Read autobiographies, biographies and success stories. Feed your mind by listening to something of value and inspiring. All of the new conditioning will help you change, You will have a different attitude and begin to understand that the difference between shortage and abundance reside mainly in your thoughts. |
