"Human potential is the same for all. Your feeling, "I am of no value", is wrong. Absolutely wrong. You are deceiving yourself. We all have the power of thought - so what are you lacking? If you have willpower, then you can change anything. It is usually said that you are your own master." - the Dalai Lama
What this could mean is that everyone has the capacity to develop, grow and succeed. What you have achieved is small compared to what you can accomplish. If only you use more of your untapped creative mind and the power of your thoughts, you will expand your possibilities and enjoy a fuller life and feel more complete.
"Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly, consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires enormous personal security and openness and a spirit of adventure." - Stephen R. Covey
The development is a process that involves awareness, the willingness to learn and to change. Becoming aware that you have not fully utilized your strengths and capabilities will lead to the desire to expand your possibilities.
People are indecisive because they have lots of self doubt and lack the knowledge. Seek knowledge so that you can improve your judgment and make better decisions. Take some risks and do whatever you should do even if you haven't tried before. When you take action, it shows that you've made a decision. The more you do this, the better you'll become.
Don't let your mind run on automatic where you don't have to think but allow the habitual mental patterns to determine your action and reactions. Make use of it by creating mental images of the things you want to experience. Input questions and let it come up with ideas and answers. Give it new instructions to follow.
For your development and growth and to fully generate your latent capabilities and strengths, you must become disciplined enough to train and practice a few skills.
An effective way to find answers with regards to your capabilities to achieve is to ask questions from yourself and other people. Questioning your limiting beliefs creates doubts and opens yourself to new possibilities.
Challenges and difficulties are great teachers. They allow you to use your knowledge, wisdom and make you think to find the solutions. Being able to solve problems is a test on your patience, judgments and personal values. You will realize your potential with each success that you achieve.
You will obtain the same outcome if you repeatedly do what you have been doing. To facilitate change, development and growth, you must do more and do your best. Doing what you already know will not help you advance.
The abilities and capabilities you see in others are not endowed to only a selected few individuals. The person who has developed his human potential has motivated and trained himself to use the power of his mind and his senses. If other people can do it, you can do it too.
