"Our lives improve only when we take chances and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves." - Walter AndersonLet's be honest here. Is everything working well in your life or are you struggling to make it work? How is life treating you and how are you treating it? How are your beliefs affecting your progress or the lack of your personal growth? How's your relationship and your career getting on? Are you playing games, deceiving and lying to yourself? Are you putting the blame on others? Observe your attitudes and behavior. Do you like what you are seeing and the results that you are getting? What is the positive intention that is motivating your behavior? Don't hide your real feelings from yourself. You have to get in touch with your emotions to avoid having internal conflict. There are many things that you may not want to admit but you have to be truthful to yourself if you want to experience change and go to another place in your life. You should not continue to pretend that your life is "a bed of roses". The way to do it is to examine your present state by asking yourself hard questions and sincerely looking for real answers. It will lead to self-understanding and you will gain insights. You will discover your motives, needs, desires and fears. Being truthful also means taking full responsibility on your actions, choices and decisions. When you honestly search for what is holding you back, you will learn to admit mistakes and accept that there is nothing that you can do about the things have happened in the past. |
Quote"One of the hardest things in this world is to admit you are wrong. And nothing is more helpful in resolving a situation than its frank admission." - Benjamin Disraeli
