Need help?You probably may need to ask for help when at times, you face a problem or situation that makes you feel stuck and not knowing how to solve it. You may have pressed your limits but unless you do something you have not done, you may fall short in finding the answers. You are unable to find them because you either don't understand enough or your knowledge is limited. Put yourself in a state of mind where you are ready to open up to suggestions and guidance. So where do you go and from whom could you seek for advice?
People who have solved the similar problems that you are facing did something differently from you. You can find the methods in their writings either directly or subtly for you to put them apart. These writings encourage you to do what they do in order for you to eventually get the same results. Your knowledge will expand and you will gather many ideas to implement when you put the effort to read all that you can about a particular subject.
Coaches and mentors are there to aid you gain clarity, confidence and provide guidance. What you don't know will not help you and a coach is around to give you a helping hand to let you see what you are not yet seeing. An instructor or counselor is already good at what he does. Getting the information or wisdom from one increases your chances of succeeding. The coaches have put in hundreds or thousands of efforts and hours to study and practice to become good at what they are doing. You save time by learning from them.
People can offer moral support and feedbacks. Ask for opinions. Learn to accept compliments and criticisms. Feedbacks make it easier for you see if you need to change your directions or attitudes. The feedbacks provide more information and can assist you to organize what you already know and make you understand better.
You learn from seeing, hearing and feeling. Look out and watch people, things happening and nature. Learn to recognize the patterns that make things happen. Watch with an open mind and try to tinker about your observations, organize them and see if something suit you. Watch yourself too. Look at what you are doing as if it is happening or being done by someone else. Would you have approved?
You must continually analyze, evaluate and reflect. A great philosopher wrote, "Ask all from yourself. The answers are within." You can increase you thinking ability to create solutions by asking yourself the right questions, using the right words and allowing your subconscious to reveal to you the answers. Pay attention and listen.
