Sometimes I feel I should not do business. But the surprising thing is I have taken plenty of risks like arguing with authorities and government people as I am working for some social causes as well.
But at work, as a marketing person for my business, I feel hesitant. I delay in making calls. My employees want me to handle the people that they can't. But I find excuses not to. I know it's not doing me or my business any good.
I have been in this business for 5 years and I have done the best strategy. But I don't know why I have become like this.

Are you hesitant in other areas of your life? What about your relationships, Are you happy in your present relationship? Are you in a relationship that is making you emotionally sick and you are hesitant to leave this relationship?
Sometimes our behavior reflects the quality of our personal relationships and this also affects our entire life making our performance at work and professional relationships poor and as a consequence we feel empty inside.
Perhaps there is another person in your life that you feel hesitant to communicate your feelings because you may think you are not good enough for this person and this is causing you a big emotional problem because you are keeping your feelings inside. I experienced this before and I realized that this was a big part of my emotional problem, I was so blind that I couldn’t see that the woman of my life was in front of me for some time and I let her go.
Second chances are very rare and we need to take them without hesitate.
Fortunately now I’m with this woman and I feel very happy and my life changed completely.
Look inside yourself and you will find your answers.
Making Your Best Decision

I think you have taken so many responsibilities in your back. This is not doing any good to your business and to you as you are experiencing reactions in your behavior making you feel overwhelm, frustrated and upset at times. This is not healthy for you. You NEED to delegate responsibilities to your management team.
But at work, as a marketing person for my business, I feel hesitant. I delay in making calls. My employees want me to handle the people that they can't. But I find excuses not to. I know it's not doing me or my business any good. I have been in this business for 5 years and I have done the best strategy.
After 5 years of doing the same thing, you may feel the NEED to do something new, more challenging and exciting and in touch with your soul, this means that you are GROWING as a person and you don’t need this business challenge any more as you became successful already. Doing social causes may make you feel more fulfilled in your hearth and in touch with who you really are.
Regarding your business, you are the mayor AUTHORITY in your business right? And you feel the responsibility to do all the best you can do to make your business successful,right? but there are LIMITS.Talk to your employees and make them CLEAR that they have the RESPONSIBILITY to deal with the difficult employees, not YOU and this is part of their job. What I see is that your employees are taking advantage of your BIG sense of responsibility and goal to succeed.
About this, I suggest you make teams of managers to THINK in finding SOLUTIONS to the problems with the difficult employees, sometimes is very healthy for a company to CHALLENGE managers to think in how to solve problems with their DIRECT employees, as they are the only ones who know what’s really going on with this difficult people. YOU as the person in charge, have some other RESPONSIBILITIES to put your ENERGY and FOCUS. Again, lighten your load and delegate responsibilities to your team.
On the other hand, sometimes difficult employees are not happy in their jobs and CAN’T leave because they are working for money not because they love or are passionate about what they are doing. If this is the case, they HAVE to leave the company, so HR can hire better employees. There are so much people outside without job that can be better employees and HR NEEDS to work in finding this very VALUABLE people.
But I don't know why I have become like this. This is becoming a big problem for me.
I suggest you to take a few days off and get some fresh air to see the whole picture to make the best decision for you. Remember is VERY IMPORTANT to be positive about your decision. My very best for you.

Hi Tani,
Is it possible that you have lost interest in what you are doing?
Five years doing the same thing day in and day out causes monotony. It makes you feel bored and uninspired.
What I suggest is set new and bigger goals. Think of expanding your business further. Think of changing the strategy to improve in every area.
One of the others things you can do is send your employees for some training so that they can handle customers or clients better. If you have to handle everything, you will definitely feel overwhelmed.

I have had a problem of facing my fears for a long time. Nervousness and doubt build up in my head until I rationalize why I should not follow through with something. I have skipped job interviews, not met up on dates with perfectly valid women and I just did something else so I decided to Google it and I arrived here.
This is a good article and I think it is true. I may print out the saying and tape it to my dash.
