Whatever it is that is causing you to feel inadequate or stuck is the one that needs your attention. Knowing is the beginning of doing and changing. You need to know what is the trait that is sabotaging you. Become aware of the self-defeating traits that you are focusing on. Look at the things that you should correct in what you are doing. Switch your mental pictures and your expectations to something that you want to feel and have.
Everything that has happened cannot be altered. You need to release the negative emotions attached to past events. You have to disarrange what's happening inside your head before you can transform externally. When habitual ways of thinking and feeling shift, your actions and emotions will follow. Modifying your thoughts and beliefs will create new behaviors. You can replace old negative thoughts by creating new mental pictures. Think about any element that you can alter to alter your experience. Your own expectations on what you can do and become are important if you want to transform your present state of being.
The unknown scares us. Your fears will diminish when you face them. When you are afraid you resist. And when you resist, you procrastinate. Develop the courage to question your fears and your beliefs. The past is useful as a learning experience but should not stop you from furthering your personal growth. You can use your creative imagination to prepare yourself to face your fears. Think of your dreams and goals and push yourself to envision a compelling future. When you are able to create a new life by conquering your fears, you strengthen your self-esteem.
If you keep repeating the way that you have been doing things, you will get the same results. If what you have been doing is not helping you improve, replace it. You need to do something different. Before you can do something different, you should learn something new. You can learn and adopt better skills by reading, listening and observing. When you take even a small action each day, you will gain a steady progression. Be willing to get yourself out of your comfort and ease and the path of least resistance. Your reshape yourself, your relationships and your work environment by making corrective and creative actions on your thought processes and your habits. Nobody is going to stop you if you want to have a different financial setting or behave differently and feel better about yourself. You do not have to move to another country or try to make people conform to your thinking. Everything begins with your willingness to think and act differently. Only you have control of your own thoughts and actions. To perform your role as an individual, a parent or a society, you need to adapt and adjust to new times. You can plan to take action today. You can alter the way you perceive things, make judgments and decide the best course of actions. People will replace their negative perceptions about you when they view you differently and see what you can do. You can become the resource to inspire and motivate others. |
