You know you are out of balance in life when you are not able to function and feel at your best. One of the reasons for the unsteadiness is allowing people and situations to affect your emotions and thinking. It is from your negative responses and miscalculated perceptions.

Your physical, mental and emotional stability are best demonstrated when you can enjoy your success and growth and feel adequate and sufficient. When your life is in order, you take pleasure in what you are doing and don't feel pressured to meet other people's standards.

How to achieve balance and create alignment in life.

  • Self management.

The best way to do it is to manage the self. You need learn to cope and endure difficult situations because life keeps challenging you. You are able to handle events and people when you have control. Self management includes the ability to handle your time, emotions, career and relationships.


  • Take time off alone.

Get some quiet times. The world is going around with so much to absorb that you may get overwhelmed. Your body needs to relax and your soul requires nourishment. Take time to keep calm and understand yourself. You should put aside time for contemplating, meditating and renewal or else you'll increase your stress level and dull your life.

  • Knowledge of your pursuits.

Know exactly the dreams that you are after or you might go running around in circles and getting yourself exhausted or frustrated. You are able to eliminate activities that are unrelated with well defined goals and outlined strategies .

  • Set your priorities.

You must learn to schedule your priorities. One thing that tend to press you is trying to schedule your time. You feel that you have so much to do with so little time and you end up not accomplishing much because you are in a state of chaos and confusion. You need to reorder your tasks and differentiate which are the "should" and the "must" do.


  • Align your values.

You feel out of balance when your actions contradict with your personal values. Doing something against your will creates tension and disharmony in your system. So in order to maintain your equilibrium and get a peace of mind, you must live in accordance to your codes of conduct and principles.


  • Let go and drop the baggage.

Stop fighting and battling with your ego. Let go attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that are causing your disharmony. Let the past fades where it should. Leave people alone in their own world and refuse to allow them to pull you down.
