My name is Fatimah and I am the person behind about-personal-growth.com. I am a Singapore born Malaysian citizen working full time as an Administration and Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur.

Why personal growth? That's because I realized that the tragedies and challenges in life are the results of our own doings or not doing something that we should.

Over the years, I have been dealing with all kinds of employees and clients and seen the different personalities, attitudes and characters.

Acquaintances and friends came and went and I saw a few making life improvements while others fell from one trap into another.

I pondered a lot about the reasons behind every successful people, those who live their life of mediocrity, the teenagers' dilemma, relationship problems and so forth.

Many average people complained, whined and point their fingers about their unsuccessful existence at everyone but themselves.

They failed to admit that they could refine their careers, relationships, economy and health by continuously improving mentally, spiritually and physically.

And about personal growth.com is about sharing my interest, knowledge and experiences from the many years of ups and downs.

If others can turn their life around and achieve worthwhile goals and attain their desires, so can you and I.

I believe in setting goals. After deciding that there are some experiences and interest about personal growth that I could share with people with the same interest, I set my mind to build a web site.

The question that came after the decision then was how do I build a web site? As the saying goes "Once you are ready, the teacher will appear."

And the teacher that appeared was the The Affiliate Masters Course. ...an intensive 5-day e-mail course on becoming a high-earning affiliate champion by Dr. Ken Evoy.

After assimilating the contents of the course, I decided that my next move was to find out more about building a site that sells through content.

considered by many to be the "bible" of selling on the Net", was my next reading.

I felt that I was not fully equipped yet and need to work on how to write effectively on my passionate subject.

And the final stage of turning my goal into reality was to actually build a web site about personal growth.

Prior to my knowledge of the existence of the Site Sell products I purchased Creating Web Pages for Dummies. I must have been a real dummy because even after completing that book, I was not able to build one.

There seem to be too many terms that I did not comprehend. I could spend many hours, days and months trying to get it right but then since there was an easier way, why not?

I am working full time, having to spend about twelve hours a day, five days a week at work and on the road. And I need a tool and a guide that makes my life simpler.

(SBI!) was the answer. I did not have to bother at all about HTML, FTP and all the jargons. Check out the Site Build It! Action Guide to see its powerful effectiveness.

It still took work though and of course a little investment. Ten days of lessons but worth the time and effort. Who says success comes easy?

And having built about personal growth.com is one of my little successes in life. It's been more than 24 months now and I am happy that I am making progress.

So progress is growth. You may have other goals in life but whatever it is, you have to make the decision and take the necessary steps to achieve them. What you gain or become a year or ten years from now is all up to you.
